We collect only the essential personal information when a member signs up, such as their first name, last name, personal email, and personal phone number. This is to enable necessary contact.

For business accounts, we also collect employee name, employee position and employee count. This personal information is private and is not visible to Veggie Vision users.

For public profiles, we collect business name, logo, cover photo, bio, public email address, public phone number, industry, business address, social media links, and website link, all contributed by the user for display and connection purposes.

2. Purpose of Data Collection and GDPR Compliance:

Personal information is collected strictly for the purposes communicated to and consented by the user. This includes using contact details for support and, if expressly consented to, for marketing purposes

Veggie Vision adheres to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by ensuring data is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently, without adversely affecting the rights of the individual.

Data is collected via secure forms, compliant with GDPR standards, during the registration process or user dashboard interactions.

We process sign-up data through GDPR-compliant sub processors: Memberstack for membership management, Make.com for automation, and Webflow and Airtable for content management. Each sub processor is evaluated to ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection laws.

Data is stored on Memberstack and Webflow with GDPR-compliant security measures to prevent unauthorised access and breaches.

8. Security Measures

We implement encryption, access controls, and regular audits, adhering to GDPR's requirement for security of processing.

9. Data Retention:

We retain user data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed, in line with GDPR storage limitation principles. Membership data is kept for the duration of the membership plus a grace period of 12 months post-cancellation, after which it is securely deleted.

10 User Rights:

In addition to the right of data deletion, users have rights under GDPR to access, rectify, port, and object to certain data processing. Requests can be made via info@veggievision.tv.
